Mrs. Egan Terry grew up in California. School wasn't always a fun place for her because reading was hard for her. She felt embarrassed that she read slower than other kids. Mrs. Egan Terry lived with her mom and her uncle. They all loved each other very much. Still, at times she felt jealous that other kids lived with both of their parents.
Mrs. Egan Terry kept working to become a stronger reader. She became a teacher because she wanted to help kids like her, but Mrs. Egan Terry ended up surrounded by kids that teacher her things. At SLAMS, her students teach her how to be a better teacher and her son Joshua teaches her how to be a better mom.
Mrs. Egan Terry wants to live by the ocean. She loves sunshine and wants to enjoy it everyday. She hopes that her husband Keith, her son Joshua, their dog Chief, and she go on adventures like swimming and hiking.
