I return to my village and start teaching all grades in a little classroom, the books were sent by the government, I feel like a Rich man.
Then the war came, and the American President said that all Puerto Rican men would be drafted. I wrote our governor and tell him, they didn't answer, so I went into the US army. I told my sergeant that I could be a teacher, but he made me spent the war cleaning.
Abuelo I returned to the village and I become a farmer and married a good woman who gave me many good children. Asi es la vida thats the title of my book. The End.
