Storyboard Description

The walls take a family trip up to West Virginia to visit Rex’s parents . It took about a month until they arrived, and they planned that once they did they would live with Rex’s parents. Rex’s parents live in a small town called Welch. Rex’s mom, erma, comes off very rude and in friendly. The children are not a fan of their grandmother. The kids where now enrolled in Welch Elementary School, to which was not a good fit. Janette commonly got in fights with the other girls in her class. Rex and Rose go back to Phoenix Arizona to retrieve what they had left, and while they where gone the kids where treated horribly by Erma.Erma locks the kids in the downstairs basement and refused to let them out. When Rex and Rose finally return to Welch, they find out all the chaos that happened while they where gone, and are very disappointed in their kids.

Storyboard Text

  • the Walls family drives to Welch, West Virginia to hopefully be better off living with Rex’s parents. The move there takes a month.
  • After a long month of being on the road, the Walls family arrives at Rex’s parents house. The kids finally meet their grandparents and soon realize that they are not a fan of their grandma, Erma.
  • Now that the kids are in West Virginia, they soon are enrolled in Welch Elementary School. The school is run down, and Janette finds herself getting in to fights with her classmates.
  • Rex and Rose travel back to Phoenix Arizona to retrieve their belongings that they had left behind on the big move to Welch. This is a total of two month round trip, but to Rex’s and Rose it was all worth it.
  • The Walls children stay with Rex’s parents while he and his wife Rose go back to Phoenix. In the meantime, Erma, Rex’s mom, locks the poor children in the basement and refuses to let them out.
  • Two months later Rex and Rose return with the gathered belongings they went back in Arizona. when they return they are faced with disappointment in their children from the lack of respect and manners towards their grandparents.
