  • Out, damned spot! out, I say!
  • A doctor and gentlewoman witness Lady Macbeth sleepwalking and obsessively washing her hands as a result of the guilt from the murders
  • The English army is approaching Macbeth's castle. Macbeth feels invincible from the witches prophecies but he still puts on his armour. He orders the doctor to cure his wife.
  • Cure her of that: Canst thou not minister to a mind diseas'd
  • Malcolm orders his army to cut down tree branches to disguise themselves as they march towards Macbeth's castle which fulfills the witches' third prophecy
  • Macbeth is informed that Lady Macbeth has died. He is crushed and questions the meaning of life. He is then told that Birnham wood is moving and admits that he will be defeated but decides to not surrender
  • Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage
  • The battle begins and Macbeth kills Young Siward. Macbeth and Macduff duel and Macduff admits that he was not naturally born of a woman so Macbeth knows that this is his end. Maduff beheads Macbeth
  • I will not yield, to kiss the ground before young Malcolm's feet
  • So, thanks to all at once and to each one, whom we invite to see us crown'd at Scone
  • Macduff shows off Macbeth's cut off head and Malcolm is named the new king of Scotland
