Claim: Greg and Rowley are toxic friends. Evidence: Page 12, "My body's not built to carry that kind of weight, but Rowley is practically like a pack animal, so it's no problem for him." Support: Greg wants Rowley to do all the work for him so he won't have to do it.
Claim: Greg and Rowley are also good friends. Evidence: On page 7, "During the winter, me and Rowley stored up some snow balls in my freezer so we could have a snow ball fight when the weather got warm." Support: They would have fun together to be good friends to each other.
Claim: Greg and Rowley are toxic friends again. Evidence: On page 8, 'But it really hurts my hand when I write in cursive for to long, so I've been paying Rowley one peanut butter cracker for every page that he transcribes for me." Support: Greg makes Rowley write in cursive on his papers because Greg doesn't want to do it and is just being lazy.
