This one is the final draft, to turn into (hard copy) to social studies teacher.
Sand Banana notices something in the water far away.
I should probably go investigate, just to be safe for others.
Okay, now I have to go scavenge to find food. But, what is that monstrosity in the water?
Sand Banana walks over to the edge of the water. But he still doesn't recognize the mysterious shape.
Oooh! I see an opening. I should go in it. To investigate.
Sand Banana walks into the shape and he finds a woman about his age. He is interested in what is happening, but curious as to why it is all happening.
Who is that??
Sand and Turok both buckle into their seats and prepare for the short ride.
Okay... but where exactly are we headed back to?
You mean, WHEN are we headed?
My name is Turok. We are already headed back, so buckle up.
They time travel to Neolithic times. Earlier, they were in Paleolithic times.
Why are there so many people? Shouldn't they be scavenging or hunting? Why are the buildings like that?
There are more people because we are not in constant travel, and it makes it much more efficient. We don't scavenge as much, instead we grow crops. The buildings are made of mud bricks supported by timber because now, we don't have to move as much. So we have lots more free time.
Sand, Turok and a random farmer talk about jobs.
So if you don't scavenge, then what jobs DO you have?
People can be hunters, engineers, seamstress, farmers, architects, slaves and taylors.
