Storyboard Text

  • Going to school at Francis Howell High
  • Command Economy
  • Get off my bus, and be more quite tomorrow!
  • I wish we had a little freedom
  • Freedom of Choice/ Market Economy
  • Okay class today is a free day to do as you please, catch up on some homework in other classes if you'd like.
  • This is my school filled with many different teachers, with many different personalities.
  • Traditional Economy
  • Today we're going outside to get our materials for the lab tommrow. Be sure to get grass, tree bark, and dirt.
  • Meet Sean, my bus driver. While going to school we have very little freedom to do as we please. We can't eat on the bus, talk, or even get on our phones! It's outrageous because he controls every aspect of our lives while headed to school. Command economy is when the resources are owned and controlled buy the government.
  • Mixed Economy
  • Band class is awesome! This is my band teacher Ms. Badge. She allows us to pick the music we want to play, when our concerts are and how many concerts we have. We all have the best time in band because we have freedom to do what we want.  Freedom of choice/ market economy give people the right to chose what they want to do, wear, etc.
  • Competition
  • My class got an average of 81% on our last test!
  • This is Mr. Evans, he's a nice guy but the way he runs the class is a little weird. We always go out side and get our materials for our labs instead of just buying them. We also hunt and kill animals ourselves when we digest animal. In Mr. Evans class all of our materials are natural resources from outdoors. Traditional economy is good and services produced the way they use to, such has hunting and gathering.
  • This is our principal Mrs. Anderson. She's a great person to be around until you get on her bad side. She sets the rules of the school but she makes sure the teachers agree. She also makes sure people follow them.  However, that's not always the case because many don't follow the rules and she handles them accordingly. But if you do follow the rules she let you do as you please. Mixed economy has rules and regulations however people still have freedom
  • You two really need to start following the rules so you won't be in my office as often as you are.
  • This is Mr. Bernstein and Mrs. Jackson. They're always in competition to be the better math teacher. They compare test score, quiz grades and the G.P.A average of all their students. Competition is rivalry among businesses sell which encourages improved products and practices and lower prices
