Storyboard Text

  • Symbol
  • Imagery
  • Figurative Language
  •  For Symbol I chose the scene where Mr. Summers finely arrived and people where scarred to get near it and the author showed that on line  48-50 by saying "The villagers kept there distance, leaving a space between themselves and the stool."
  • Tone
  • For Imagery I chose the scene to where characters had stuffed their pockets with stones on lines 15-17 stating "Bobby Martin had already stuffed his pockets full of stones, and the other boys soon followed."
  •
  • An example of Figurative Language int the story is on line 70-72 when the story had said "Where the breeze caught them and lifted them up."This is an example of Personification because the breeze was given human like qualities.
  •
  • An example of tone is when the story was starting to get dark when the characters had began to get the stones from the pile inferring that they were possibly going to kill the person that had gotten the piece of paper with the black dot .
