Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • They used babies as targets and made us dig trenches. I warn you!
  • Rising Action
  • Fire!
  • This is where Elie and his family are introduced. Elie's father said Elie is too young to study the Jewish religion and does not find him a mentor. Elie then meets Moishe the Beadle who helps mentor Elie in religious studies.
  • Climax
  • Elie and his family are forced to move into the ghettos where they have a lot of restrictions on what they can and cannot do. Moishe the Beadle escapes the Hungarian Border and tells everyone about what he had seen, but no one believes him and think all he wants is pity.
  • Falling Action
  • Elie and everyone in his town is put into cattle cars where they will be sent to a concentration camp. Mrs.Schacter screams about seeing fires into the distance, but really there is nothing there. When Elie arrives at the C.C he is separated from his mother and three sisters, 
  • Resolution
  • After enduring everything that happened at the Concentration Camps, Elie's father dies. Elie can now focus on looking after himself and trying to survive until the war is over. 
  • Elie and the rest of the people in the Concentration Camps are saved by the U.S. The war is now finally over. Elie soon became sick and was transported to a hospital.
  • Elie soon moves to NYC in 1956 and writes Night, which was about his first-hand experience of everything that he had witnessed and done during the Holocaust. Night has won countless awards such as the Nobel Peace Prize. Elie soon had a son with his wife.
