  • On 6th June 1944 General Dwight Eisenhower announced the beginning of the  d-day, the message was first heard on the USS Texas then to following ships, the ships had to begun prepare the landing crafts. 
  • the last remaining landing crafts have been launched and has been send to Omaha, Once they have landed they were under heavy machine gun fire and explosvie fire, It was hell.
  • 425,000 Allied troops were deployed at D Day, only 216000 of them got back home, lest we forget those who has fallen.
