Storyboard Text

  • ....A Talib doesn’t know what is written inside this book.” They think that God is a tiny, little conservative being who would send girls to hell just because of going to school.”This story uses emotionally charged language using the words “tiny” “little” and “conservative” to show shame and anger in her society .It has a strong negative connotation and that has an impact to the listeners feelings which makes it a strong persuasive tactic.
  • Logos is another appeal she uses to follow a line of reasoning .” Islam says that it is not only each child’s right to get education, rather it is their duty and responsibility.”Malala uses verifiable evidence from the Quran to support her claim that every child should be granted the gift of education, Which I admire .
  • I agree. The persuasive tools that she presented were stupendously advanced.Did she use any rhetorical devices?
  • Indeed, Malala used many such as Alliteration and Restatement .
