So I need you to get a signature from John tomorrow after school. Got it?
You're not the paperboy.
Correct you are. I am getting signatures for my school's...uh...contest. You can win 2 free...uh...tickets to...uh...Florida. All you have to do is...uh...write your name and address down on this...uh...paper.
Man, I can see why Sara thought this guy was a murderer. He is scary!
Daniel Leigh comes home from school and sees a note attached to his backpack. The note says, "I need your help - Fellow Star Child" He later finds out that Sara Malvern sent him the note.
I'll take you and Sara to her father if you'd like. I was going to bring him flowers anyway.
Sara asks him for help on an investigation about her father's death. She suspects it was her mom's boyfriend who did the deed. She gives Daniel a "farewell" letter "from" her dad that says that he left, and she thinks it was forged by John, her mom's boyfriend.
Dad, I won't forget you. Remember that. I love you and you will always be in my heart. *sniff*
Daniel goes to John's house and gets his signature. When Sara and Daniel examine the letter and the signature, it matched. They continue investigating and find several clues that lead to John killing Sara's father.
Well, if you're Psycho Sara then I'm Deranged Daniel.
Deranged Daniel, really? OCDaniel is more like it. *laughs*
Here. I don't care if you think you're not a star child. I know that you're a star child.
When Daniel and Sara break into John's house for their final piece of evidence to put him in jail, they get caught. John explains that he didn't kill Sara's father, but that her father killed himself because he was depressed and sick. Sara is heartbroken to find out that her father really is dead.
John takes Daniel and Sara to see her father. Sara does not believe that she is a star child anymore and gives her bracelet to Daniel.
The next day at school, Daniel is talking to his crush at recess when he finds Sara sitting alone. He runs over to her and gives her back her bracelet. Side note: Psycho Sara is her school nickname.
