They went on there way to the trading area with what they were going to trade.
They would drop off what they wanted to trade and leave that area for a little bit and wait for the other person to drop off their good .
The other person is traveling to the trading area .
They drop off there trading good and see if they like what the other person left.
Then if they decide they like the good that was there then they take it and leave the good that they are giving to the other person in exchange.
