  • COME AND TAKE IT!
  • THE CONSULTATION

  • BATTLE OF THE ALAMO
  • FUEGO!!!
  • This scene is the Battle of Gonzales, the first battle of the Texas Revolution. It is showing the Texans defeating  the mexican army and they have a sign that says"come and take it"  that shows that they want to fight.
  • DECLARING INDEPENDENCE
  • FINALLY!
  • Now, we will fight for independence!!!
  • During this consultation, Sam Houston is chosen to lead the Texan army to win the Texas Revolution. Houston is also told to fight for the constitution of 1824 not independence yet.
  • WINNING INDEPENDENCE
  • This is a very important event in the Texas revolution because even though the texians lost, they gave the other soldiers drive to fnish the war and they gave them something to fight for.
  • THE REPUBLIC OF TEXAS!
  • This event is very important because instead of fighting for the 1824 constitution, they will now be fighting for freedom from the unfair Mexican government.
  • Texas is now free! They won their independence from the Mexican and now are an independent nation!. 
  • Now Texas is actually its own country after fighting for so long and they will continue to be a country for ten years.
  •  WE'RE  FREE!!!
