  • Scout please don't cry. Ya hear me? It ain't worth it. We already got what we wanted.
  • OMG! Jem be careful. I can't believe you actually had the guts to touch Boo Radley's house!
  • See Dill I ain't afraid of a little dare. I bet you ain't got the guts to do it. Do ya?
  • This shows Jem having compassion for the kid Scout was hitting instead of joining in.
  • Boy, What you need is a good butt whipping.
  • What in lords name do you think you are doing on my property? Killing my beautiful flowers!
  • This is what you get for being mean to Atticus. I kill your beloved flowers! Ha!
  • Ha! This is what Mrs.Dubose gets for being mean and rude to Atticus.

  • Scout, ya can't tell no body about Atticus killing that dog now! Ya hear me?
  • But.... It is going to be so cool when I tell everyone at school what a cool dad I have. Your such a buzz kill Jem!
  • This shows Jem is braver and stronger than Dill because he did something that Dill didn't have the guts to do.  And Dill is usually the dare devil.
  • No! I ain't leaven without ya.
  • Scout, Reverend said you need to leave. Alright!
  • Scout you're to young to know some of this stuff. Now go home. Your not a baby you can walk home by your self!
  • Oh boy!
  • This shows Jem mad about Mrs. Dubose being mean to Atticus. In this moment Jem was soo mad, that he decided to kill her lovely flowers.
  • This shows Jem being mature by trying to look after their family, by keeping Atticus killing the mangled dog a secret. So the town wouldn't resent them.
  • This shows Jem trying to look after his younger sister by protecting her from "Big people stuff". It also shows Jem getting frustrated that Scout would not listen to him.
