Mohenjo-Daro was an ancient civilization that thrived 5000 years ago. I was along the Mohenjo-Daro river which was in modern-day Pakistan and Northern India. Mohenjo-Daro was avery peaceful civilization. There very little evidence of weapons and battles.
In Mohenjo-Daro there were flat houses. The flat roofs were used for lots of things, including just hanging out!

Pets were a big thing in Mohenjo-Daro, pets included dogs and even mokeys! Cows were considered "special" to the Indus people.
The Indus people had a working sewer system! They had something called, "The Great Bath" (scientists don't know the point of this bath)
Some of the jobs that the Indus people did were traders, farmers, and crafters. Traders went around the world to trade with other countries..
Know one really knows what EXACTLY happened to the Indus people but some guesses were that the river that gave them all of their water MOVED. Also, since they had no weapons, they were probably attacked and wiped out.
