After discussing it it with Herbert. They both decide to use the paw to get 200 pounds.
Mr.White and Mrs.White are greeted by a representative of Maw and Meggins. They get the 200 pounds... in exchange of Herbert service of the company and his life.
Literary Term - Situation Irony
Mrs.White, stricken with Herbert's death, pressures Mr.White to use the paw to resurrect their son, completely looking over the potential consequences. They soon hear a banging on the door, and Mrs.White rushes over to open it.

Mrs.White unlocks and opens the door for Herbert. And Mr.White uses his last anf final wish to send Herbert back to his grave.
