Benvolio and Mercutio were walking through city but they noticed that the Capulets were out. Benvolio wanted to leave but Mercutio said that he didn't mind a fight. Tybalt tells Romeo that he wants to kill him but Romeo says he does not want to fight. Romeo tries to be the peacemaker but then Tybalt shoots Mercutio and kills him. In the heat of rage, Romeo goes after Tybalt and kills him. Romeo then runs away because if he's caught he will be banished.
Act 3, Scene 4
The Nurse comes back to Juliet and tells her that Romeo was included in a drive by shooting. Juliet is so upset because she knows that if Romeo didn't kill Tybalt then Tybalt would've killed Romeo. She feels conflicted but ultimately sides with Romeo and sends the Nurse to give him the ring.
Act 3, Scene 5
Romeo was hiding out with Friar Lawerence. Friar Lawerence explains that he will be banished for shooting Tybalt. If he doesn't leave immediately then he'll killed. The nurse enters the church with the ring that Juliet has given for Romeo. It is then that Friar Lawerence suggests that Juliet and Romeo overdose on drugs so much that they kill themselves.
Paris comes over to the Capulets house to talk to Capulet and Lady Capulet. Paris says that he'd like to have an arranged marriage between them so that way their businesses will both be profitable. The Capulets consider this and decide to do this to help get Juliet get over the death of Tybalt.
Romeo sneaks in to see Juliet and they discuss their future together regarding Romeo's banishment to Mantua. They're soon interrupted by the Nurse who says that Lady Capulet is looking for Juliet. Lady Capulet enters and tells Juliet about the arranged marriage. Juliet is pleased with this and decides to go see Friar Lawerence for confession.
