Storyboard Text

  • I'm Deucalion, King of Phthia and son of Prometheus
  • Prometheus told me to build a big boat and put everything on board.
  • I'm Pyrrha, Deucalion's wife.
  • Zeus was angry at the crimes and wickedness of man and so he created a flood to destroy mankind.
  • Zeus didn't use his thunderbolt in case the heavens were set alight.  Poseidon helped Zeus create a flood.
  • It rained for 9 days and nights, but then it stopped.
  • We sacrificed a ram to thank Zeus for saving us.
  • Zeus told Deucalion and Pyrrha to throw their mother's bones over their shoulders.
  • They worked out that the "bones" were actually rocks.
  • The rocks turned into men and women and the earth was repopulated.
