In 1634, Pierre Boucher with his father immigrated from France to New France.
When he get there, he learned several American Indian l languages.
After that, he and his Jesus father in cooperation, and the cooperation as "missionary“. He is one of their interpreters.
Pierre Boucher returned to Beauport in 1641.He settled in Trois-Rivières. In 1651 he was elected as a militia captain, and commanded the city defense in the Iroquois attack in 1653.

He returned to Trois-Rivières in 1662, served as governor until 1667, when he left to find his Lord and Butcher, the city named after him.
