Storyboard Text

  • Telemachus arrives to see Eumaeus and a beggar speaking.
  • "Stranger, you are no longer what you were just now! Your cloak is new, even your skin! Have mercy on us!" (Homer 1246, 70-75)
  • "Why take me for a god? No, no. I am that father whom your boyhood lacked and suffered pain for lack of. I am he" (Homer 1246, 77-79).
  • Son, compose yourself! I have a plan for tomorrow. We shall rid of the suitors. Do not let anyone know of my return.
  • My Queen! Your son, Telemachus, has returned!
  • Antinoos and the suitors tried to kill your son!
  • Who, us?
  • We would never try to kill your son!
  • How dare you! You dare kill my son?!
  • Queen Penelope rushed upstairs and went to her room in anger. Odysseus and Telemachus went to bed, ready to face the suitors the next day.
