Storyboard Text

  • Stop school shooting!!
  • I wish I had friends.
  • I'd like that.
  • "Would you like to sit with us, instead of by yourself?"
  • Many students took to walking out of their class in hopes to make lawmakers see the amount of school violence that has been going on.
  • Hello
  • Hi, there!
  • All schools have different groups of student who all hang out together. The idea of walk-up instead of walking out was to show students that it all starts with them and that they can make a small difference in someone's life
  • Better gun control means less school shootings
  • The idea was to walk up to a student that you would normally not speak to and just say "hi". Showing the student that they are seen even if they don't think that are.
  • March For Our Lives
  • Students believed that walking up is just the start to ending school violence.
  • This month students from all over the country gathered in the U.S. capital as well as state capitals and their town to show support for the March for our Lives movement.
  • The March for our Lives movement was created by students in support for tighter gun control. This movement started with the walk-out and ended up in the United States Capital, showing just how far todays youth is willing to go. The question remains on what they can do to stop it before it starts?
