Storyboard Text

  • The Start
  • I sure am getting close to graduating. This is the home stretch! Work and School is stressful but school comes first I'm excited for world literature!
  • Epilogue
  • Some say it's a start to the end or a end to a start. By definition a epilogue means the person speaking this. In this case this is my epilogue and every story has a ending. World Literature created a platform for growth and respect for others. Culture, Hardships, Destruction, and Family are themes that have tied into the structure of this course. By dissecting different novels from all walks of life I have been able to relate different views to current events seen today.
  • Open Space
  • The Process
  • This course and the way it is structured has taught me that reality is truly timeless. Life lessons have a way of making an impact regardless of time and place, The novels we have researched and discussed all have different struggles during different time periods. The biggest thing I have learned is becoming an effective listener. It has allowed me to gather a wealth of knowledge from my peers. We all represent different walks of life and life lessons vary. By reflecting on the thoughts and ideas of my peers I have witnessed a growth as a class that can never be forgotten.
  • The Road Less traveled By
  • Throughout this course I have experienced some hardships that didn't allow me to maximize my opportunity's. It has been a tough thing to overcome but I realized within this tough time I have learned something. What I learned was things may not go according to plan but it's up to me to bounce back and overcome. I have been given the chance to control the ending outcome. If I didn't experience sickness that caused me to miss class I believe my input and effort would have allowed to me to do well in this course. Effort is key and it will allow me to finish strong.
  • Effort
  • Effort goes a long way I have learned from this experience I'm thankful for course.
  • The End
  • If you asked me what my expectations were for this course at the beginning of the semester it was to get by. I felt that I could just ease my way to a good grade and I learned very quickly this course required hard-work. I soon had a new perspective then just graduating. This course opened my mind to digging deeper then what;s seen on the surface. The novels we read represented a perspective seen in the eyes of the author. The power of literature is endless by applying a open mind approach.
