Storyboard Text

  • In August 1557 French General Louis-Joseph de Montcalm held against the British Fort WIlliam henry. It was very poorly guarded leading to Monro surrendering and giving it up . His force almost had about 2,000 indians soldiers.
  • On June 8th, 1758 the British attacked fort Louisbourg located in Canada that ended the French colonial era in Atlantic Canada and led to the British campaign to capture Quebec in 1759 and the remainder of French North America the following year.
  • On Sep 13, 1759 General James Wolfe had sent a bunch of British troops above Quebec and attacks the French. The French had suffered many casualties. The british on the other hand lost their General due to injuries. The rest of the French flew to Montreal in need of shelter.
  • On September 8th, 1760 the British stormed into Montreal, Canada leading them to completely gain conquest of New france. Which became British possession so they implied the surrender of New France. Which lead to the Treaty of Paris
  • November 3rd, 1762 The Treaty of Paris is signed and France surrender all the land to owned to Great Britain including Canada.
