Storyboard Text

  • Dear Sister...
  • It all started when I was born...
  • Robert Walton, a captain of his own ship, was sailing the Arctic Ocean in an attempt to reach the North Pole, to be known for something. He, although accompanied by a crew of sailors, was feeling the pangs of loneliness
  • I'm Victor, but my friends don't call me because they're dead.
  • Robert writes to his dear sister all the time, and complains about how lonely he is, but one day during a standstill because of an ice build up, a man drifts over.
  • IT'S UGLY!!
  • What am I?
  • The man and Robert converse about Robert's dream and how he wants to be well known. But the man has a story with a moral, just to show Robert why he has chosen the incorrect path. Robert, intrigued, begins to transcribe the man's story.
  • Goodbye cruel world!
  • The man introduces himself as Victor Frankenstein, a scientist who searched for the secrets to nature, and suffered greatly for it. He spoke of his childhood and adolescence,  his education, his rise, and his great plummet into the depths of sorrow and misfortune.
  • Victor spoke of his creation, how it terrified him, and how it killed and framed the ones he loved most. But he also spoke for the creation, and its account for the things it had done, as well as its reasons behind it. He showed Robert what would become of him if he continued on this unrighteous path, and why he should turn back.
  • This is why
  • After Victor finished telling his story he asked Robert to make a promise, one such that if Robert ever came in contact with the creature he would kill it, without a second thought. Robert agreed and Victor soon died, but much to Robert's surprise the creation soon made an appearance at Victor's side, filled with sorrow and regret. Robert washed with emotions stood frozen as the creation then walked into the ocean never to be seen again.
