The Eastern Woodlands had a great amount of forests. There were also lots of water sources including rivers, streams, and the ocean. In the winter snow was everywhere and it was windy.
Animals had a huge impact on the Eastern Woodlands because they not only provided shelter and clothes, they provided food too. Some animals that they used for food were fish, bear, deer, and rabbit. Something that was very important to the people of The Eastern Woodlands were the three sisters, corn beans and squash.
The houses that the people of The Eastern Woodlands lived in were called wigwams. They were round and comfortable. They also had a fire in the middle for cooking and warming up the Wigwams. Pits in the ground stored food for the winter. Food was cooked on clay pots.
