  • Ohhh, good… Is everything OK? Is the coast clear for tonight?
  • Hello?... who is this... hello?
  • This radio play starts off with a very ill women, Mrs Stevenson, and lying down on the bed worrying about her husband. So she decides to make a call to him.
  • Climax
  • Oh no! the killers are going to kill someone, and i can hear them in the neighborhood! 
  • *train passes by
  • Mrs. Stevenson continues to dial her husband's number. After calling a few times, she figured out how to the hold of the operator. She goes through the procedure with operator to call Mr. Stevenson. Mrs. Stevenson particularly tells the operator to call the number, Murray Hill 4-0098
  • Falling Action
  • Once the operator figures out how to get Mrs. Stevenson onto a call with Murray Hill 4-0098, she catches a progressing discussion. The discussion is by all accounts between 2 men, one of them named George. Mrs. Stevenson at that point solicits who is part from the call, pondering where her spouse is, however it appears as though they don't hear her. As the two men keep talking Mrs. Stevenson discovers that a murder will take put that night around her for some client.
  • Resolution
  • Hello? This is the police department and home can I help you today?
  • Mrs. Stevenson, as yet attempting to comprehend a murder will soon be occurring adjacent, starts to freeze. Amid this condition of uneasiness, sounds start to originate from first floor. Mrs. Stevenson at that point understands that the men that she caught prior were after her. When she sees this reality, she rapidly dials and calls the police division's number
  • * RING RING RING
  • *YELLS, OH MY GOSH! THE KILLER IS IN MY HOUSE! I NEED TO CALL THE POLICE! SOMEBODY!
  • *KNOCK KNOCK *KNOCK KNOCK
  • While attempting to achieve the police department, somebody opens Mrs. Stevenson's door. She doesn't perceive this individual and is unmistakably frightened and confused. This individual starts to approach her, making her become evermore apprehensive. As this individual crawls nearer Mrs. Stevenson starts to shout, however her shouts are overwhelmed by an adjacent passing train. At that point, the shouting all of a sudden stops.
  • *GASP, WH-O are you? GET OUT! WAIT! AHHHHH! NOOOOO!
  • *door slowly opens * slowly takes out a knife
  • Mrs. Stevenson's telephone finishes ringing and the police department is on the line. The police department at that point asks what is happening and if all is well. A man's hand at that point goes after the telephone. He reacts to the police office expressing that the call was a mistake, says that he won't make the same mistake again. With new affirmation, the police department reacts to the man saying that it was fine, and to have a pleasant night. There is no sight of Mrs. Stevenson.

  • Ah, I see. I might've dialed the wrong number. Um... it'll wont ever happen again. I apologize.
