The Historical Failures & Duties Of America: The Boston Tea Party & The Stamp Act
The Boston Tea Party: December 16, 1771
Good morning Boston! Britain has come to a significant concept. We have decided to impose taxes on the tea that you purchase and drink. Tea is one of the most sold things here in America. By increasing the tax, the more money you give us, the more power/money we have towards other countries like yours for instance. Any comments for our committee?
This act had all started when American Colonists did not agree that Britain should impose taxes for their tea
You can not do this to us!
I can do this and I will! Now we shall go.
I can't afford to lose money for my children .
How dare you do this?
Late at night the Sons of Liberty, secret commission, decided to plan an ultimate attack against Britain.
Thank you everyone for participating in the Boston Tea Act that is going to happen! We will dress as Native Americans and dump chests of tea into the harbor on all of the British ships.
The Sons of Liberty followed their plan. They dressed as Native Americans and dumped 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
