  • After this attack, Britain found out and realized that this was a political/financial protest about the tea taxes.  The Colonists began to boycott against Britain for smuggling Dutch tea to the United States of America.
  • In May of 1773, the Tea Act was enabled.  This would be a cheaper way and price to sell tea than any other company, but tea ports would be taxed.
  • Hazzah!

  • Well, the people of America...you have won.  We will grant you the Tea Act which is tea sat a cheaper price, but the tea ports will be taxed not you.  Have a good day.
  • As time flew by from this historic moment in time, the Stamp Act was just beginning.  This all happened on March 18, 1776.
  • After the war between Britain and France, Britain had established taxes to pay of the lost cost from the war.
  • Everyone!  We should of have won this battle!  Now we have to solve a major issue quickly!
  • Shortly, the British made a British Parliament that passed the Stamp Act.
  • Well, where's Captain?  We have to pass this act ASAP!  This cannot wait!

  • Yes I did.  Why?  Is something wrong?
  • Documents, licenses, magazines, and anything that includes paper was going to be taxed for now on.  The people did not enjoy this act at all.  Stamps would be placed on these products to make sure they were all ready paid for with tax.
