Banquo, you will never be king, but your children will sit on the throne!
Act 2, Scene
Aaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!! King Duncan is dead! He's been murdered!
In Act 1, Scene 3, the three witches appear. They hear a drum beat and one witch yells that Macbeth is on his way.Macbeth and Banquo arrive and are very surprised to see the witches. Banquo asks if they are mortals. The witches address Macbeth as thank of Glamis and thane of Cawdor. They also say that he will be king one day. Then they tell Banquo that he will never be king, but his children will sit on the throne. Macbeth begs them for more information, but they disappear right before their eyes.
In Act 2, Scene 3, Macduff asks Macbeth is King Duncan is awake because he needs to speak to him. Macbeth takes him to his room where he was sleeping, Macduff comes running out shouting that he has been murdered. Malcom and Donalbain arrive and are told that their father was killed, probably by his chamberlains. Macbeth says that he killed the chamberlains becasue he was so angry.
