Silent Trade is trade between people who never met face to face. The West Africans used Silent Trade to avoid conflict and avoid any language barriers. Silent Trade occurred in West Africa. Storyboard By : Tristin Mullaney
The first step of silent trade is the traders arrived to the location of the trade
The Traders spread the goods out along the floor
Once finished, the traders would beat on a drum to announce that they are proposing a trade
They would then walk several miles away to allow the Wangarans to make an offer
After the Wangarans heard the drums, they would travel to the site by boat
