  • Joca.. No, no, this can't be! IT IS ALL MY FAULT! For the eyes that have caused everything, I must blind myself!

  • I will obey your honors king Oedipus. I will take great care of your wonderful daughters, and of course, exile you from Thebes.
  • Jocas.. *tears up* Jocasta has hanged herself... Creon I ask you to exile me and take great care of my daughters Antigone and Ismene. They deserve great care.
  • Oedipus bursts through the palace doors, seeking Jocasta after she had run into a room after hearing the dreadful truth.
  • King Oedipus enters the room she is in and is in dread as he sees his wife hanging by a rope, dead. He takes the gold pins of her robe and blinds himself.
  • After Oedipus departs the horrific scene, he calls for Creon and Oedipus' own daughters. He tells Creon to exile him from Thebes and to take good care of his daughters.
