George Washington was the first president of the united states. His plan was to set a working government in place. To do that he had a cabinet what was four branches of government, the branches were the Secretary of Treasury, Secretary of state, Secretary of War, and a Attorney General.

The Financial Crisis is when the government was deeply in debt. The government couldn't pay off the debt because the government didn't make enough money to pay off the binds.

George Washington came to Alexander Hamilton (the secretary of Treasury) to help think off Ideas to pay off the debt. Hamilton had three plans to pay off the debt. The plans were first pay back all the debt, meaning state and federal debt, second plan was to create a national bank, last plan was to create high tariff on imported goods. Only the first two were excepted to fix the problem.
The Whiskey Rebellion is when the farmers protested and refused to pay tax on whiskey, that the congress put tax on. To protest the farmers burned down houses of tax collectors. To stop the protest washington sent a militia to make the farmers stop. This showed the government could stand there will.
Instead of following the treaty of Paris, the British gave Native Americans Guns and ammo. The natives started to attack settlers. They refused to sell the lands to america and the two went to war. The Americans won the Battle of Fallen Timbers and the Natives were forced to give up their lands in the Treaty of Greenville.
The French Revolution happened because they had a financial crisis from wars, the French had an Economic Depression, and lastly there was enlightenment. An new government can in play called the national Assembly because of the French Revolution. The Americans supported the Revolution until it became really violent. The French later on declared war on Britain, but the Americans became neutral so they will not lose their trade opportunities.
