A little bit after that
Gavrilo's actions weren't punishable by death because of his age. Instead, he got the next worst thing: a life in jail.
The murder of Franz Ferdinand did not solve anything, in fact it made things much, much worse. It kicked off the first world war and never stopped the Austrians. Gavrilo later died in prison after seeing most of the destruction he had caused during the First world war.
Who on Earth started this in the first place!!!
