  • "...There lies more peril in thine eye than twenty of their swords!" (Hyperbole - exaggerating that there is more danger in Juliet's eyes than 20 of her relatives coming at him with swords.)
  • "I have night's cloak to hide me from their eyes" (Personification - The night does not have or wear a cloak.)
  • "Love goes toward love, as schoolboys from their books..." (Simile - Compares how lovers go with the same joy that schoolboys leave their books.)
