The Soviet Union blocked allied support from entering Berlin. Supplies were not allowed to enter.
I wonder what is in the box?Looks like food and supplies.
In a broken down buling, a young boy named Max is hungry. His mom, Gurtrude, has no food since the Soviets closed the border.
MAMA! I found food and water. The Americans dropped supplies from planes.
Thank you Max! You are a good kid.
Max, still hungry, goes outside because of the sounds he heard. He figures out that it is a plane.
You can go!
All of a sudden, the plane drops a box. When Max opens it he finds food, clothes, and water.
Max brings back some food and water for his family. Luckily, they will survive the hardships.
On May 12, 1949 the Soviet Union opened the blockade to supply runs. The Berlin Airlift was a success.
