Storyboard Text

  • I should go get the French crown since I do have a blood line with the deceased king. Have they found a replacement?
  • King Edward the French king died today!
  • The English were outnumbered by the French but lured them to attack.  English used their well trained longbow men to kill the French knights and soldiers.  After a short battle the English won with minor casualties. 
  • You may lead the army. 
  • God has sent me to lead the French Army to victory!
  • Are you sure a peseant girl could lead us to victory?
  • Joan of Arc led the French to victory over the English at the Siege of Orleans. This marked a turning point in the war. If Orleans fell then the English could advance further south into Paris.
  • The French used cannons to defeat the over confident English army led by Talbot. The French beat the English with very few casualties but the English lost many men.
  • Feudalism disappeared in France and Nationalism grew. The English left the continent and started the age of exploration. The English explored Asia, Africa, and America.  France was now respected by the English and left alone.
