  • Impacts of Mining in the Air
  • Land is affected greatly because it deprives the land of its top soil and nutrients, this is bad for plants and trees, but it is also an eyesore.
  • Impacts on Miners
  • Water and sea creatures living in the water are impacted immensely because the chemicals used in the mines get into water bodies, therefore polluting the water and endangering plants and animals.
  • Impacts on Families
  • Air is impacted because the machines gives off fumes and gases which pollute and destroy the ozone layer. The after math of this will be exposure to ultra-violet rays.
  • Long Term Impact on the Earth
  • Mining can affect the life expectancy of miners and over a period of time they might develop breathing problems.
  • For families that live near mining fields will have issues with polluted air therefore causing lung and breathing difficulties, water supply may also be contaminated by chemicals used in the mines.
  • The earth will be impacted by effects of ultra-violet rays, chemicals in the air affecting plants and and animals. Therefore ultimately par-taking in global warming.
