  • I'm not that strong. I should start to work out to increase my muscle
  • Access
  • Google: How do you increase muscle? 1. Lift weights. 2. Run on a treadmill. 3.  Get a trainer and go to a gym.
  • Practice
  • Work! Work! WORK!
  • Josh Identified physical activity as something he wants to improve.
  • Explain
  • Josh looked up on his phone to get stronger. He wrote out a plan to work out 3 times a week and plans to get a trainer at the gym.
  • Assess
  • Josh works out three times a week at the gym in town. He brings protein bars and turns his cell phone off so he doesn't get distracted. 
  • Reflect
  • Have I become stronger? Did progress show?
  • Josh's family supports him to work out and gain muscle. They help him to remember days to work out if he forgets, and motivate him to when he doesn't want to. They also don't go too fast food places to help him stay healthy.
  • At the end of the month, Josh feels the improvements and is happy with his results 
  • Wow I feel so strong and happier now. I've been getting better grades and everyone says I'm happier 
  • Josh reflects on what he has done over the past month and see's his improvements
