Welcome to the Klamath National forest. We are exited to present to you ( The amazing characteristics of Northern California ) - ALL
In 1987 we experienced a massive fire caused by a lightning storm covering a large portion of our forest after going through secondary succession we have regrown using lichen, grasses, then into shrubs and finally the trees and lush forest we had.
In the Klamath national forest you will encounter many unique and native plantlike such as extensive pine tree forests that include bishop pines, coulter pines, and many more. There are also native flowers such as the California Lilac that can be found in our best season of the year! Spring!
You will also have the opportunity to take part in various trails that go along rivers like Elk creek, Ike's creek ad others that will provide a special and unique experience unlike anything else.

If you take a close look at the forests you may find amphibians like salamanders, toads, and frogs. A fun activity for all families to take part in!
