  • Hey, chill. There's uses of money. It all works together. Money is anything that serves as a medium of exchange, unit of account, and store of value
  • I don't get what makes money money! Why can't everything be free or something?!
  • actually if you think about it, there is 3 different forms of money. money in the form of a commodity, flat money, and representative money.
  • are you serious?
  • commodity money is a form of value that gives the paper money value. Representative money gives the people trust in the money that it holds value. Lastly, flat money is the value given by the government.

  • personally, I like bartering but it can be very bad with a specialized economy. 
  • I would rather use a debit card because that is money you actually have versus credit because you can go into debt with money you do not have with you
  • I use my credit card a lot.
  • It is what sets a defined value on the dollar. This means you can trade a amount of dollar bills in exchange for gold. 
  • so then what is this gold standard I hear about?
