At the age of 13, Joan was a peasant, girl from France. She saw a light and heard the voice of God. Telling her that she had to help save France and to put the dauphine on the French throne and to get the English out of the French territory.
You want me to defeat the French?
The year when France was in chaos, was when Joan started hearing voices. The French were still in war with the English. Charles told the people that he was the rightful king, not Henry's infant son.
Joan's first challenge was to free Orleans from the English. In the spring of 1429 Joan guided Charles army to Orleans which the English had under siege for six months. Joan went to go free Orleans soon the French soldiers overwhelmed the English and drove them out.
Three days after the English decided to attack Orleans itself. When Joan and her army went in Joan was hit by a arrow and she pulled it out of her and survived.

May 1430 Burgundy's army of 6,000 soldiers and joan's army of 300 soldiers had to retriet. When the towns mayor saw English troops approaching French territory he closed the drawbridge trapping Joan outside. Then the english paid the burgundys for joan.

The Catholic Church put Joan in the Trial in Rouen for witchcraft and heresy. or spreading beliefs. The court mad 70 accusations against Joan. In May people gathered around to see Joan burned at the stake.
In 1455, Joans family requested that the pope reopen her case. The pope did reopen Joans case and found her innocent, of all charges. She inspired her country and help restore the throne
