Storyboard Text

  • Your Percent Test is tomorrow...Study your notes tonight!!
  • Mrs. Sullivan thinks WE HAVE TIME TO STUDY when Abercrombie is having their 35% off 2-hour sale tonight?
  • YEAH, LIKE REALLY??? Some things are more important than studying! LOL
  • That's $8 but we need to leave a 20% tip. Mrs. Sullivan said we add the percents to find the markup price. 100%+20%=120%, which is 1.20 in decimal form.
  • Jessica OMG..these tops are super cute! $50 with 35% off!
  • ...Wait till you see these out! Let's get 2 each!
  • 35% off
  • I remember Mrs. Sullivan saying you must first subtract the percents when finding the discount price
  • So..4 shirts at $50 is $200. Then, $200 x 0.65=$130. Divide $130 by 2 and we owe $65 each. WHAT A DEAL!
  • 100%-35%=65%. Now we have to change the percent to a decimal which is 0.65!
  • 35% off
  • With the money we saved we can get the 2 slices with a Coke for $4.00!
  • ...and $8 x 1.20 is $10 or $5 each!
  • I hope everyone reviewed percents last night!
  • Percent Test Today!
  • Oh no I forgot to study! I better ask to go to the nurse.
  • Jessica and I practiced all night long and fun doing it!
