  • One morning, Ms. Blackwell, a lonely, frail, old lady decided to make herself breakfast!
  • Found them!
  • As Ms. Blackwell chopped her veggies for her omelet, she accidentally cut her finger!
  • She immediately went ti the bathroom to find a band-aid, so she could finish making herself breakfast.
  • Once she found the band-aids, she realized...
  • ..since the cut was so small, the positive feedback loop known as blood clotting, had already stopped the bleeding, so she didn't need a band-aid!
  • Being cautious, Ms. Blackwell put on a band-aid to prevent the receptor (her skin) from having sending afferent signals to her control center (brain) again, as it would then send efferent signals to the platelets to begin coagulating.
