Hi. Im Mathadic
My math teacher Mr.Hinote told me to figure out the area of a parking lot that is shaped like a trapezoid.
This parking lot's dimensions are (h 22), (b1 15), (b2 8). So the Area would be 506
Wow who are you?
I'm Mathuranious and I'm here to help you because you did your math problem wrong.
Well what did I do wrong
When you are finding the area of a trapezoid the formula is area=1/2 x h(b1+b2). You forgot to multiply by 1/2. You should of gotten 253.
You're welcome. It is a very common error for someone to forget to multiply by half.
Thank you for your help Mathuraniuos. I'll never make that mistake again because of your help.
