This shows that Arnold's idea of himself is based off a demeaning racist comment that Indians are stupid.
The guys at Reardon are picking on Juinor because of his race which can be demeaning and is immoral.
This Shows that the idea of race has gotten to Junior. Is he white or Indian, he feels like two different people, a stranger.
