  • The Boston Tea Party 
  • Lexington And Concord
  • The Battle of Bunker Hill 
  • In 1773, three ships loaded with tea and arrived in Boston Harbor. 
  • The Declaration Of Independence
  • The redcoats approached Lexington. Both sides let loose an exchange of bullets. When the shooting ended, eight minutemen lay dead. The British then continued on to Concord. 
  • The Continental Army  
  • Early in the Revolutionary War, the British defeated the Americans at the Battle of Bunker Hill in Massachusetts. The battle provided them with an important confidence boost.
  • The Battle Of Princeton And Trenton
  • All men are created equal and there are certain unalienable rights that governments should never violate.  When a government fails to protect those rights, it is not only the right, but also the duty of the people to overthrow that government.
  • The Continental Army was formed to secure American colonists' independence from Great Britain. This army courageously fought what became known as the American Revolutionary War and claimed victory for the newly formed United States.
