In the beginning there was Zola, the god of creation. Zola reigned the heavens for years on end until she found out that she was lonely and needed humans to talk to and confide in.
Zola then figured out that in order to make humans, she needed to make an earth for the humans to live on. So she created the planets from nothing and the stars from the surrounding clouds she had made.
Zola then created the first humans, out of the sound of the music, made by throwing around the clouds and the rain. She named them Francisco and Alahu, they would be the symbol of the culture, to prove that there was once perfection on earth.
Francisco and Alahu were given three rules, obey Zola, never lie and to continue loving music.
Francisco and Alahu had kids, who were pure and did everything they were told, those kids had kids who were the same. When the third line of children had their own kids, they were bad and did not listen to the rules that were given, when the fourth line of children had kids, these kids were born deaf, which caused confusion between the humans.
The humans cried out to Zola, asking for their children to have their hearing back. "I have given three rules, all of which you have not obeyed, you have led a sinful life and as punishment I have taken away your child's ability to hear, this is why you have to abide by the rules I haven given you all." Zola responded.
The humans learned the importance of their god, they built buildings to honor Zola, they had music traditions and parties to honor the music that they loved. The humans kept the tradition alive for as long as they lived. They obeyed Zola after this, knowing their future punishment if not.
