  • WWI all started at the death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand or Austria- Hungary, this caused one of the biggest wars, and in the end
  • Germany was blamed, and was punished thoroughly
  • The Weimar republic, was refers to Germany and its political system between late 1918. It began as a political experiment. The idea of this was to create a liberal democracy.
  • The great depression was a economic melt down in the industrialized areas of the world, this caused people to lose mass amounts of money, jobs, homes, and even family members. It was the longest and most severe depression ever recorded.
  • Article 48 was when the government was given permission cut back constitutional rights including free expression of opinion, freedom of the press, rights of assembly, and privacies.
  • Hitler was a master liar. He studied propaganda closely to see how to get his points across perfectly. He managed to get lots of German Nationalist’s attention and began his share his plans and ideas such as regaining military power, lowering employment rates, stop communism and completely destroy the Treaty of Versailles. To cover up his evil workings he used the Jewish as his scapegoats.
  • When Hilter went to prison he served for 9 years, and while he was in there he made the book, Mein Kampf.
