The racial differences that we see throughout socioeconomic can be found within neighborhoods, residentials, and in medical care situations. These are all very important when it comes to racial differences in disease.
Because of their lower socioeconimc status and racial segregation African Americans struggle with having to live in poverty struck-en communities where they have to deal with a higher violence and drug rate. Smoking products and alcohol companies tend to target those who live in these communities making for unhealthy living conditions.
Those of different races have to deal with poorer medical insurance problems because of lower socioeconomic status which in turn leaves a mark on their everyday health.
Someone like me who is in a lower class of living tends to have a socioeconomic status that is similar unlike those of higher class.
No matter what we do to try and fix racial differences it they will still tend to have worse health care just because they are lower in class ranking
One thing that I learned that surprised me was how much of an impact that your class in the world could impact the health care you can recieve. How is it that we can in a way neglect those of lower class just because they dont live as well as others?
